Chocolate Mousse

It looks like chocolate mousse but has a irresistible raw chocolate taste. It is rich and satisfying.

This recipe proves that healthy food actually does taste good. It is a chocolate mousse made from only healthy foods. The main ingredient is avocado which is rich in fats that our bodies need, packed with minerals because of the raw cacao combined with all the health benefits of raw cashews.


Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup of raw cashews
  • ½ a cup of filtered water
  • 1 ripe avocado 6 tbs of raw organic cacao powder
  • 6 tbs of raw honey (can be substituted with raw organic agave)
  • ¼ cup of organic virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of organic vanilla flavour

Method: Soak the cashews in water for 1 hour. Drain and rinse. Blend the cashews until finely ground. Add all other ingredients and blend until the desired texture is achieved. Dish into bowls and refrigerate well before serving.
