Diabetic Health Clinic Newsletter – 16/6/2014

Greetings,

This week we were over the moon when we found out that one of our Diabetic Health Clinic Lifestyle Program attendees has decided to blog, with blow by blow descriptions of what she is experiencing as she is going through her lifestyle change. We were even more over the moon when Jo agreed for us to add her blogs to our web site. We will be adding her interesting story into the testimonials area of our web site.  

We are sure that you will be fascinated by her journey. We are sure that Jo’s story will provide you with many interesting insights when it comes to undertaking a monumental lifestyle change like Jo is currently experiencing.

Jo is today completing day 4.  We will be posting her blog entries up till day three and and then as day 4 and onwards becomes available we will be posting it.  You will be able to follow Jo’s progress from our website or from our Facebook page.  If you have not done it yet, you might want to click  here to like our Facebook page. Once you have liked our Facebook page you will begin to get regular updates in your own Facebook news feed.  You can also join us on most other social media at the bottom of this newsletter. That way you can follow Jo’s progress on a daily basis.

We would like to wish Jo much courage and determination as she embarks on a change that has the potential in dramatically altering her health outcomes.

It is a well know fact that breakfast cereals are the most processed food on the supermarket shelves. This is the most amazing breakfast. It is totally 100% tasty while being 100% healthy. You will love this breakfast! It will give you energy and nutrition for the first part of the day without the sugar hit. It is easy and quick to make. Do yourself a favour and have a great healthy breakfast.

This is a fantastic dish that can be used with many different meals. It is healthy, tasty and easy to make. Lentils are extremely healthy and excellent for diabetics. They give you plenty of energy all whilst stabilising sugar levels.

Breaking News
This week the FDA approved new horrific artificial sweetener. It is called Advantame. It is 1000 times more potent than aspartame. When you read the horrific side effects you will want to do everything to avoid it and yet the FDA has ruled that it is safe. Go figure.
