Greetings,

Tomorrow the 14th of January we are commencing our first  Diabetic Health Clinic Lifestyle Program for 2014. This will be a conference call / on-line program that will cover all of Australia. Technology can be a wonderful thing. It can help us to communicate like never before. Can you imagine trying to run this sort of program just a few short years ago? The human race is so good at doing certain things. The progress we have made is actually mind blowing yet In all of this it is frightening as to how poorly we do some very basic things.

 Sometimes we can get our values inverted. We are happy to spend money on IPads, computers, TV’s homes, travel, clothes, but we rarely think about what we are putting in our mouth. For some reason we have become very accepting of putting in our mouth whatever appears in-front of us. Often we think about the grade of fuel going into our car more than how good our food is for us.

 Our body just like any other machine needs the right fuel.  It is an extremely complex machine. As much as the human race is extremely intelligent, we still don’t understand so much about the human body. One thing however is very obvious, the day we started to consume processed foods we started to inflict a new breed of diseases on the human race. These now have a name, “chronic diseases,” which are sometimes known as “lifestyle diseases.” The list of these is quite amazing, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and type 2 diabetes just to name a few.

 The solution is simple.  A return to a whole foods, as grown, whole foods diet is essential. It has been shown that a return to our original diet arrests and even reverses diseases like type 2 diabetes.
