This irresistible berries dessert is no exception. Therefore it can be enjoyed not only on special occasions, but any time you feel like treating yourself.

Berries being full of antioxidants and valuable vitamins, add a great benefit to your meal, as they will aid with iron absorption in the body , which is one of the benefits of vitamin C.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Punnet of fresh blue berries
  • 2 Cups of frozen berries (can be blue berries or a mix of different varieties)
  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 2 Cups of Greek Yoghurt
  • 2 Tbs of Agave Syrup or Honey
  • 1/3 Cups of cashews-crushed
  • ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp coconut sugar

Method:

  1. Place frozen berries, banana, Yoghurt and Agave Syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Wash fresh berries and divide evenly amongst 4 dessert glasses. Top with a quarter of the frozen berry preparation in each glass.
  3. Mix the crushed nuts, cinnamon and coconut sugar together in a small cup. Sprinkle over the desserts and enjoy.
