Going Nuts


This smoothie is all about nuts & seeds.  The taste has an unmistakable nutty flavour so if you enjoy nuts then you will love this smoothie.

It also contains spirulina which is an amazing ingredient. It is known as a super food, extremely high in antioxidants, it is known as the disease fighter and is also known for its anti ageing properties. It will also make your smoothie go an incredible green colour.

This a a smoothie that will keep you full for hours as it also contains hemp seeds and with a handful of dark greens and the spirulina you have one fantastic way to start your day.


Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup of cashews
  2. 1 cup of walnuts
  3. 1 tbs of pepita seeds
  4. ¼ cup of hemp seeds
  5. 1 pear
  6. 1 handful of baby spinach
  7. 1 tsp of spirulina
  8. 1 cup of water to be adjusted for required consistency

Method:

Add all ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until a smooth consistency is achieved.  If the smoothie is to thick add more coconut water and blend again.


This recipe makes two standard servings
