Cashew Burst Smoothie

The "Cashew Burst Smoothie" is full of natural nutrition to keep you going for hours. It does contain cashews and a handful of cashews equates to the therapeutic equivelent of a prozac. Cashews however provide you with much more than what a tablet of prozac ever will. Here are just some additional extras that you will get.

  1. Cashews are know to prevent cancer because of the proanthocyanidins that they contain.
  2. Improved Cardiovascular health because cashews contain oleic acid which is know to reduce triglycerides.
  3. Beneficial for your had and skin because cashews contain copper which is an essential component of many enzymes.
  4. Promotes bone health as cashews contain magnesium which is important along side calcium.
  5. Good for nerves and cashews stop calcium from rushing into the nerves and activating them. Cashews keep nerves relaxed.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 4 dates
  • ¼ cup of oatbran
  • 1 handful of raw cashews
  • 1 handful of spinach leaves
  • 2 tsp of cranberries
  • 300 – 500ml cocunut water. 

Method:
Blend in blender until smooth, pour and enjoy.
Adjust amount of coconut water to achieve desired consistancy.
