We will be supporting supporting our drought stricken farmers with an auction conducted by Robbie Christie!

Please bring with you items that can be auctioned on the night. All proceeds will be donated to “Rural Aid” who will purchase and deliver hay bales to where they are needed most.

Join us and enjoy a beautiful whole foods meal, be entertained and add some “Christmas Joy” for our struggling farmers.

We need to support our farmers who are doing it tough in the drought.

What to Bring on the Night

  • Everyone attending is asked to bring a non processed food dish. If you are coming along because someone has invited you please speak with them regarding recipes etc.
  • Please bring with you items that can be auctioned on the night. We are fortunate to have Robbie Christie attend and conduct the auction. It will be fun and enjoyable night.
  • All monies raised will be forwarded to “Rural Aid” who will purchase hay bails from buyabale.com.au. The bales will then be shipped to farmers in need.
  • You may pay for any purchased item with cash, there will be a credit card facility available. If a credit card is used to pay for an item a 1.94% fee will be deducted from your funds to cover the merchant fee. The remainder of your payment will go directly to “Rural Aid”

Selecting & Bringing Your Food Contribution

  1. No processed ingredients or foods should be used. Lets see just how beautiful foods can be without using any processed ingredients.
  2. Avoid dairy and meats. There are many people who have completed the Kilcoy DHC program who are not eating meat or diary. Creating culinary delights based on plant food ingredients will mean that everyone can enjoy your wonderful dish.
  3. Most Importantly – The dish you make should be large enough for all the people coming in your group. If you are working in a group of three, but with all your groups guests there are six coming, your dish should be large enough for the six people.
  4. If your dish is warm please pre-heat, wrap it in a towel and bring it warm. It will help the night run smoothly if we have pre-heated dishes arriving.
  5. Please bring with your dish utensils for serving the dish. We will make sure that all of your utensils and serving dishes is returned to you at the end of the evening.

If you don’t have a favourite whole and non processed foods recipe then below you will find some fantastic resources to help you reseacrh and a find a dish. It is easy and to fun to peruse through the wonderful world of whole food options.
